Life

Intermountain Medical Center opened on Monday. It was a smooth transition, but I have been working like crazy. We are very shortstaffed, so my department was told that we can not take a vacation throughout the holiday season. Travis works with the basketball team constantly, especially on the weekends. So I was reminscing about the trips I have been on in the last few years. Here are a few pics. I did not have enough room to share all that I wanted, such as wedding and honeymoon, but here are a few good ones.

I went on a cruise last March with my roommate. This was on a zipline in Roatan.

The new hospital will open soon. It is so exciting. I have been helping with tours this week. Today I was able to attend the ribbon cutting ceremony. After all the CEO's spoke there was a dedicatory prayer offered by President Monson! It was so neat. I never thought about having a hospital dedicated. I believe that that helps bring about the peaceful feeling felt there. If anyone wants to tour the hospital it is open to the public Oct 28-29.

I finally decided to start a blog like everyone else. It is much easier than I expected.
I saw Kalle a few weeks ago and her belly looks so cute. I can't believe all the people who are having babies right now! Julie, your baby is so cute!
Our fun adventure for the month took place on Labor Day. We went to the zoo and saw the white alligator. He is not albino, just has white pigmentation and sunburns easily.
Travis is busy with work and school and being the basketball manager. So I just work and am thinking about taking on a part-time job as well. I also have been reading like crazy. If you have not read Twilight you are behind the times. It was great! I am anxiously awaiting the next book New Moon, because I am to cheap to buy it. Also, if you have time, read Three Weeks With My Brother, by Nickolas Sparks. Maybe I am just extra hormonal but I laughed and cried.
