In an effort to save more money I am starting to cut Travis's hair. I received a clipper set last year and decided to try it out. Travis's Aunt Emily showed me what to do. I promised to post before and after pictures of this experience. I actually was nervous, so I did not cut very much off. It looks great, but you can feel a shelf on the back of Travis's head, and I did not cut the sideburns very well. Next month I will be a little more daring!

Announcing...
The Porter baby is scheduled to arrive October 4. We are thrilled to finally be pregnant! I do not know how so many women have had babies. This is tough work!!! I am so impressed with all my old roommates who have multiple kids! How is it possible?
I am not very nauseated anymore, but I am still exhausted all the time. Work has become incredibly long days.
The first ultrasound was incredible. (I cried). It was so cool to see the baby moving. Sometimes I can't believe this is real.
I go in tomorrow for my second appointment and then we will schedule the ultrasound to find out the gender, so we should know by mid-May. We are super excited either way. At the first appointment I was already measuring a week early. We keep joking with my brother Ryan that if we have a girl born on his birthday, September 28, we are going to name her after him. He does not like the idea very much.

The Village
Saturday we moved out of the Village. We loved living there, even though it was ugly and we had cinder brick walls. We made great friends at the Village. Thank you to everyone who helped us. The move was completed in about 30 minutes!
We moved in with my mom, until Travis is able to get a job. Travis has an interview with the Jazz on Tuesday! We hope that options will open up for him soon.

The Graduate
I should have posted this long ago. Travis graduated in December!!! I am so proud of him. Now he can enter the "real world". Travis graduated in Sport Management. He had a great internship with the Utah Grizzlies, and made some great connections. Now it is just a matter of a job coming available. We know it is going to happen. We just wish it would happen sooner rather than later. My patients told me that I got my PhT. (Pushing Hubby Through) Degree. I am so excited Travis finished!
