Travis and I went on the Erickson camping trip this year at Willow Flats, Idaho. We went up Friday afternoon and came back Saturday night. Everyone else was really roughing it and stayed Thursday-Sunday. It was only in the 60's and it rained most of the night we were there. Travis was able to get in a few good four wheeling rides and I was able to go on a hike. We also were the champions in an incredibly long game of Mexican Horseshoes. The food was great. I have never camped in such luxury before! Thanks for letting us tag along.

Canoeing
We went canoeing a few weeks ago with our friends the Leonards. The weather was great and we had a good time, but Travis and I were always far behind the group. I think I am slowing down. We went to a new location, up Ogden Canyon. The lake had quite a few people there that day and tons of cliff jumpers.
St. George
Travis and I wanted to take one last vacation, just the two of us, before the baby came. I wanted to go somewhere not to hot, like Yellowstone. Unfortunately I could not find any vacant hotels in our price range. So instead we ended up going to St. George in July. (Nice and cool for a 6 month pregnant lady right!) It ended up being one of the coolest weeks they had all summer. The temperature only went to 100 degrees. We had a great trip.
We were able to go to the St. George Temple

Big Belly
I was able to hide the fact that I was pregnant, from my patients, until I was almost five months along. I feel like I have ballooned in the last month. Now when people see me they don't look at me strangely, they just ask when I am due.

Hiking
We went on a great hike in Ogden a few weeks ago. I went with my mom, Paul, my uncle and two cousins. The weather started out great. The hike took almost an hour to get to a beautiful waterfall. It is amazing the scenery you can see in the canyons that is not visable from the valley. Clouds appeared while we were walking and it poured on us most of the way back down! My mom was worried about me slipping on the rocks, so Paul was my escourt on the way back down. He was very helpful and is always concerned that something might happen to the baby. The hike was great, but when we got back down to the car we noticed that my mom's car had been broken into. Her purse was taken along with both our cell phones. In her purse were credit cards, glasses and an extra set of house/car keys. So, luckily the car was not stolen. Paul was worried all weekend that someone was going to break into our house and murder us. The house has since been re-keyed and everything that was taken has been replaced.

Travis's 26th Birthday
Travis and I are now the same age for a few weeks. I like being the same age, I hate feeling old! Travis recently turned 26. He got a Killer Bunnies game from his family. (If you have not played this game you are missing out. Give us a call and we will teach you how to play). Then he got tickets to a Bees game and to go golfing. Travis recently took golf lessons, so now he can show off his skills. And of course I got Travis his favorite thing... clothes!

Hair Cut
In an effort to save more money I am starting to cut Travis's hair. I received a clipper set last year and decided to try it out. Travis's Aunt Emily showed me what to do. I promised to post before and after pictures of this experience. I actually was nervous, so I did not cut very much off. It looks great, but you can feel a shelf on the back of Travis's head, and I did not cut the sideburns very well. Next month I will be a little more daring!
