Chistmas pictures

Here are a few pictures from our holiday.
My brothers put Addie in the basketball game. She loved it.

She began playing the piano at Grandma Porter's home.

She also currently prefers to play with cars over dolls.

Crazy Hair

I do not know how to style what little hair Addie has. When I got home from work last night this was how Travis had styled Addie's hair. He even added a little product to it. Her hair really is very curly! What am I going to do. I have stick straight hair.
This is when I tried to curl the mop of hair on top of her head. Her hair has still not grown in on the sides of her head, so it makes it difficult to do anything.

Update

We hope you all have a wonderful Christmas. I have a new perspective on Christmas this year. Addie still does not know what is going on, but she sure loves to open presents. It is fun for me to see how excited she gets. I love being a mom!

Addie at our Ward Christmas Party this morning. I was really surprised that she cried. She usually goes to anyone. She did alright, until we stepped away from her.
First time trying spaghetti

Addie is finally starting to walk.

Random

I have been in a crafty mood lately. These are some of the christmas cards I have made. I got a cricut last year and need to be using it more.

Addie and Cole being pushed around our house. Addie loves laundry day.

5K

I do not know how to rotate pictures...sorry. I ran a 5K a week ago with Paul. You could do either a 5K or a 10K. The course was not marked very well, so lots of people (Paul included) did a 10K on accident. Luckily I was closely following someone who was doing the 5K, so I turned when she did. Can you see the time in this photo?... 18:59!!! I was the 5th person to finish the race. Sadly, I knew that that was an impossible time for me to finish a 5K in. I could not even do that when I was running cross country. So I looked up the official results and I ran it in 25:14. Not to bad, but nowhere near 6 minute miles. I don't think that I will ever be able to do that.

Addie's Birthday

I loaded these pictures in the wrong order. After Addie's party Paul put her inside of one of the boxes she opened and pulled her all around the house. She loved it!

She enjoyed digging into her cake and did not make to much of a mess.

She also liked eating the wrapping paper.

She opened every present by herself.
Addie is our wonderful princess. We even had a tiara for her, but she did not keep it on long. She recently turned one. Her grandparents and most of her aunts and uncles were able to come to her birthday party, which was at a park near our home. Addie had lots of special attention and loved it. I can't believe that it has been a year already since she was born! Time is going by to quickly. I keep thinking of all the moments or things that she did that will never happen again. I wish I could slow time down and spend more of it with her.

ADDIE

I know that I need to update a little more often. Truthfully I am terrible at taking pictures. I thought that I would do better after having a baby, but I still don't take as many as I should. Addie has so many cute outfits that I never took a picture of! So when we have another baby I am really hoping for a girl. All these cute clothes need to be worn again.

I have just recently started making some of Addie's hair bows. It is easy and so much fun. I made both of the bows in these pictures. She usually will leave them in her hair for about 30 minutes.

I am not sure what this face is about. I was just trying to get her to smile.

This is how Addie's hair was on Monday when Travis picked her up from daycare. Brooke, our daycare provider, said that she just could help herself since Addie was finally getting some hair! She still is called a boy frequently.

With my grandpa at the Cardiac Rehab BBQ. I picked the worst day of the year for this. It was freezing. I am surprised that so many people actually showed up.

This is what Addie does in the morning while I am getting ready. She loves to rearrange everything that she can reach.

Chillin' with cousin Cole at Wheeler Farm. This was the first picnic that Addie went to and she loved it. Somehow whenever I take her picture she seems to be wearing this outfit. She does own other cute clothes, but I do love this shirt on her. It is nice and loose on her big belly.
